Summary

I have been teaching in various settings since 1989 and have taught in the Saint Paul and Minneapolis Public School Districts since 2001.  I have concentrated my efforts as an educator in the inner-city and focused on teaching alternative learning strategies to increase students’ comprehension.  I have been an active team member and leader in my professional settings as well as in my personal affiliations.  My objective is to use my expertise to create collaborative environments in order to support and prepare teachers and students to be successful in inner-city and alternative learning environments.

WORLD WITHOUT GENOCIDE 1ST ANNUAL SUMMER INSTITUTE: William Mitchell College of Law Summer 2011: Planning Committee Member.

JEWISH RESISTANCE TEACHER’S PROGRAM: Summer participant 2009 – Participants travel to Poland and Israel to study the Holocaust and Jewish resistance in the Ghetto’s and Camps. Follow-up responsibilities include: research, continued study and educating youth and adults about Jewish resistance during the Holocaust.
UNITY UNITARIAN CHURCH WORSHIP TEAM: 2006-2008 Worship Associate:
Worship associates meet as a team quarterly with the ministers to discuss and plan the upcoming worship services. Each Associate works with a minister to develop and conduct three to four services during the church year.
